Approach

My therapeutic approach integrates strengths-based cognitive behavioral therapy with systems and attachment theories. I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults across California through telehealth, with a particular focus on teens and young adults dealing with PTSD or trauma-related adjustment disorders.

Types of Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    A structured, skills-based approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact. CBT is especially effective for anxiety, depression, and managing everyday stress.

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

    The gold-standard treatment for OCD, ERP involves gradually facing fears in a safe, supported way while learning to resist compulsions.

  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

    A live coaching model that helps caregivers strengthen their connection with young children while addressing behavior challenges, defiance, or emotional outbursts at home.

  • Play Therapy

    For younger children, I use play as a natural way to help them express themselves, process emotions, and build coping skills. It’s developmentally appropriate and deeply attuned to each child’s unique needs.

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

    This approach focuses on how past experiences and relationships shape current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It’s ideal for those seeking deeper insight, emotional growth, or healing from long-standing patterns.
